Masterbatch Selection Guide - FKM
Fluorine rubber is a well-known high-performance rubber, particularly characterized by excellent resistance to high temperatures, ozone, weather, oxidation, mineral oils, fuel oils, hydraulic oils, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many organic solvents and chemicals. Our company can supply materials compounded from various FKM systems, such as general types (66% fluorine content), medium fluorine content types (67–68.5% fluorine content), high fluorine content types (70% fluorine content), low-temperature elasticity-improved types (64.5–67% fluorine content), and types with superior resistance to more chemicals and solvents (66% fluorine content).
-Due to the excellent properties of FKM, it is commonly used in the automotive industry, chemical processes, aerospace, and many other industrial applications. The low-temperature elasticity type offers a wider temperature range from -45°C to +275°C and exhibits outstanding resistance to highly aggressive HTS-type oils, making it an excellent choice for aerospace applications as well.
